SwitchResX is distributed as shareware, and registration is
14 €.
This means you can try the program without any limitation for a
period of 10 days:
The distributed version is identical to the registered
version.
After this 10-day period, if you want to continue to use it, you
should register.
The preferences that you defined won't be loaded or saved any more
until you enter the code that you'll be given after
registration.
You can use the unregistered version to see if you find SwitchResX
useful.
When you register, the old preferences that you defined will be
loaded again, and no annoying message will be displayed any
more.
Shareware, or demo ?
This is not a demo software: You are not entitled to use SwitchResX to solve a temporary problem, even within these 10 days, without registering it.
Be fair, if the software solved a problem for you, then it probably deserves a registration, doesn't it ?
